The Hollow Men

This was actually a drawing I did for my English Lit. class. Our teacher was most likely grasping for assignment ideas, (what with it being close to the end of the school year and all), so she just gave us this to do, thus adding a little depth to our marks.

We were basically told to draw our interpretation of the Hollow Men in T. S. Eliot's famous modern poem, "The Hollow Men". They're supposed to look like scarecrows, so that's what most of the people in my class drew. I, however, decided to play off the ghastly aspect of the Hollow Men and went for a more stylistic look. Then I drew them dancing around some cactuses, because that's what they do in the poem. I added a neato lookin' moon and that's that. I would add some colour to this, but it was done for school, and that's really as far as I intend for it to go. Nothing special here guys, just a doodle. You know how it is.

Oh, and it's appropriate for me to post such a ghoulish picture because I'm seeing Iron Maiden tonite!! Ch'yeah! It's gonna be KILLER!!!!
