A Mother's Day card! For my mommy!

Any of you get the reference? No?! This card is done as an homage to one of my favorite comic strips of all time, Matt Groening's "Life In Hell". As you can see, the shadow of my mother looms over an insignificant little me, who has clearly made the mess at hand. You might say it is styled à la Life In Hell. Yeah... using French is a good idea.

Oh and Mother's Day (May 11th this year) was also my Birthday. I'm 17 now, if any of you care. I got lots of dope T-shirts, lotsa gift certificates n' money and my own digital camera! (So expect some artsy photos showing up on my deviantART in the near future. I'm not making any promises actually... I don't know anything about photography, I figure I might as well take a shot at it though, rite?!) So yeah, I had a good Bday. I just feel so old now... 17 just feels so old... any of you guys know what I'm talking about? When I was 16 I still felt young, I still felt like I had world of possibilities ahead of me. But 17 is just... bleh... Old... Grade 11's almost done... soon it'll be grade 12! Then grad! OLD!
